I worry by day that the youngest Americans don’t get their childhood immunizations, nutrition, and proper socialization. If this study is based on charity, then it should be noted that more collectivist countries have less of a need for charity because they actually take care of their own citizens. Also tax policy effects donation behavior, American are very adamant about making sure donations are registered by institutions rather than individuals to get tax benefits, where is it is safer to help individuals directly.
